"Alborada" is Pipo Romero's fourth studio album and marks a new chapter in his artistic evolution. Inspired by the first light of day, the album fuses Spanish folk traditions with Atlantic influences, interpreted through his signature steel-string guitar, in a constant dialogue between roots and contemporary experimentation.
Each composition explores complex textures and rhythmic structures, maintaining a deep connection with his cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of acoustic music. With influences from flamenco, American folk, impressionism, and electronica, the album proposes a unique language, in which each track functions as a scene within an emotional logbook.
The blend of acoustic and electronic sounds is not accidental, but structural: synthesizers, analog drum machines, and samples coexist with cajóns, palmas, and castanets, expanding the imagination of what contemporary folklore can be.
The album was born in a moment of uncertainty, when everything seemed to have stopped. But it is precisely in this search that this 'alborada' (daybreak) emerges: a light that restores the drive to continue creating. The result is an honest, melodic, and surprising album, full of details, unexpected twists, and genuine emotion.
