Influenced by the German philosopher and poet Philipp Mainlander, a group of musicians have come together in Azpeitia (Basque Country) with the idea of "creating music around the sufferings of human beings" and honor the German philosopher by giving his name to this new project and presenting his first album with the same name: 'Mainlander'.
The new musical group arises from the union of experienced musicians from other groups. Claiming the sacred value of music and its constant dialogue with the most ancient traditions, they try to get away from the anesthesia and cultural autism that pop suggests too often. Thus, and in the most unexpected moment and way, their songs suddenly shake our guts and it is impossible for us to stop paying attention to them until the last note.
