Macromassa publishes its thirteenth official album.
Macromassa has worked for two years in the studio of The Hrönir Factory composing and recording this trip. Albert Guitart has preserved the space between sounds. Eulàlia Sariola has put image and color to those sounds.
Nubla and Crek have described a psychedelic dream or a visit to what "happens there." But ... Is it the description of a dream or could it be that it happens whenever you listen to it and, therefore, you can visit it with active listening? That is, what happens and where it happens. Maybe everything happens on the album, when you listen to it.
It is not the first work by Macromassa with a concept developed through a common thread. It is a procedure used in some of his albums, such as Los Hechos Pérez or Puerta Heliogàbal. But there are not only Macromassa discs that have an evident connection between the themes, “concept” discs, but all Macromassa discs are connected to each other.
In this case, Nubla and Crek invite us to complete a new part of the puzzle and Sucede There becomes a safe-conduct to penetrate at a fairly deep level of the band's work that except (obviously) their live records, always composes in the study. Let's see that the title can also be read as Macromassa happens there. This may suggest that this album allows us to attend more closely to the duo's creative process, which is true, and even that the Macromassa "entity", as they call it, manifests itself in those sound spaces in which, as far as we know. , there are harangues to the masses, electronic animals, cathedrals with motors, horse stampedes, a yellow bandit, wet caves ...
This is probably Macromassa's most descriptive album, but ... Does it describe science fiction and mystery worlds, spooky places, dreamlike landscapes, or does it describe the true nature of Macromassa?
It must be the listener who ventures and discovers what happens there.
If possible, this album should be listened to in one fell swoop, because it is a journey whose stages are explained sequentially, in a relaxed position and with a good sound system or good headphones, since binaural panning has been a priority objective in the recording.
