Elvis Crespo is one of the biggest stars of salsa and merengue for over 20 years with global success and impressive sales with albums like “Suavemente” (1 million copies only in the US in 1998) or “Píntame”.
Now after three years since his last work, releases his brand new album “Tatuaje” ("Tattoo") described by the artist himself as a project that combines the original formula (merengue-salsa) with current ingredients. He says that it is "extremely difficult" to maintain balance in a musical career and considered to have pulled out of the "comfort zone" and work with young producers or collaborate with current artists.
Therefore, Crespo has surrounded himself in this album by recognized artists as: the Colombians Fanny Lu and Maluma, the Dominicans Maffio and El Cata, Puerto Rican Olga Tañon and Lenny Santos, former member of Aventura, among others.
