Els Catarres is a very peculiar trio: a guitarist who sings, a double bass player and an accordionist who plays the bass drum and the tambourine with his feet. The group was born at the end of 2010 and since the success of their first concert has not stopped growing day by day thanks to the sudden success of their first single 'Jenifer' (more than 600,000 views on youtube in three months and more than 70,000 downloads of their first album) that took them to play all over the Catalan countries (100 concerts in 2011) and publicizing their peculiar proposal of festive folk.

The main feature of the group, apart from their music, is their manifesto in favor of free music. They believe that musicians should make a living by playing and sweating on stage, in front of an audience that will be able to "have a unique and unrepeatable show that is why we exist."

It is one of the most attractive and festive live shows on the current Catalan scene.
