The two CDs includes 40 Original recordings that Inspired Elvis, many of which he later recorded himself, including Big Mama Thornton's 'Hound Dog', Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup's 'That's all Right' and Wynonie Harris's 'Good Rocking Tonight'. The collection features many of the King's favourite gospel tunes alongside classic country, blues and rock 'n' roll from the artists that shaped his sound including The Drifters, Hank Williams and Dean Martin. The third disc contains a DVD interview with Elvis recorded at the Empire Stadium, Vancouver on August 31st 1957, a few weeks before jailhouse rock was released.
