"Flor" is the first recording work as a leader of the young Galician double bassist Pablo Patiño.
Patiño combines his career as a painter with his vocation as a double bassist and composer.
With very diverse mentors such as William Parker, James Blake, Wyne Shorter, Jakob Bro, or almost any composer of the 20th century, "Flor" is expressed with a clear concept of improvisation where creation is combined with powerful compositions.
His band is made up of tenor saxophone player Diego Alonso, vibraphonist Alfonso Traficante and drummer Esteban Lavigne.
