"Brossa d'ahir" was the first album by singer Pep Laguarda, accompanied by the group Tapineria. This album, along with "Humedad relativa" by Remigio Palmero (1979) and "Cambrers" by Juli Bustamante (1981), is part of the so-called "Valencian Mediterranean pop trilogy", according to specialized critics and now converted into cult albums .
The group traveled to Mallorca to record the songs at the Banana Moon Observatory home studio, on the platform of Daevid Allen, who acted as producer and played bass on a couple of songs; Pau Riba appears credited as artistic director along with Laguarda, and the latter's brother, Xavier Riba, plays the violin in 'Milanta años luz blues'; Guitarist Joan Bibiloni and drummer Tico Balanzà also collaborated.
