This CD truly marks Terraza out as the absolute king of this genre. There’s his ability to create his own repertoire of carols that are familiar yet original. He has chosen pieces that are not overworked and dressed them up with dignity and freshness. He has maintained fidelity and complicity with the voice of a singular artist, Randy Greer, who we’d love to hear more of. The danger with this record is that you’ll wish it was Christmas year round.
