Txuma Murugarren began in the 90s as founder and member of the prestigious group Sasoi Ilunak and since 2000 he has been performing as a soloist and has had a long and prolific career.
This time his confessed admiration for Nick Cave has culminated in the recording of this album. He has translated Cave's lyrics into Basque with great care and subtlety and without losing an iota of his original magic. He has made use of old trustworthy companions such as Rafa Aceves (piano), Miguel Ramírez (guitar, bass), Oriol Flores (drums), and has turned them into his particular Bad Seeds. They have masterfully captured that firm and cinematographic tone that is so special for the band and offer us sincere, friendly cover versions of impeccable elegance while being very personal and deeply moving.
