Pianist, singer, composer and deep connoisseur of the piano blues tradition, the artistic framework of the San Sebastian pianist Paul San Martin encompasses a wide range of influences ranging from jazz, rock and roll, gospel or Rhythm and Blues.
Recorded by Victor Sánchez at the Elkar studios in Donostia, his fifth album maintains the high quality quotas with which he already gave us in previous works, with the usual contribution of Abdell B. Bop on double bass and Romain Gratalon on drums, in addition to the incorporation of The Broken Horns, a brass section made up of Ion Celestino trumpet, Pablo Maza tenor sax, Javier Jaukikoa trombone. It is a 7” EP where the artistic personality of the San Sebastian pianist and singer synthesizes in three songs a good part of the North American musical tradition in perfect combination with the rest of the band.
