FLAMENCO / COPLA / CANCIÓN ESPAÑOLA
FP MUSIC (FPMUSICCD01 02)
Since his beginnings singing flamenco, David Palomar has not stopped proclaiming to the four winds his love for Cádiz. It is his homeland, his inspiration, and the need to continue sailing. Over time he has contributed to the perpetuation of the Cadiz school of cante, without forgetting his enormous creativity that always goes beyond what is established, with the sole intention of generating his own discourse.
And so, with that desire to fight born “8 Miradas” ("8 Looks"), his fourth solo studio album.
"8 Miradas", is David Palomar's personal vision on eight specific topics: gender violence, pollution of the oceans, life, the involution of man, laziness, madness as something indispensable and differentiating, immigration of the Strait of Gibraltar and evolution as a form of revolution.
Glances that touch, hurt and excite, provoking a response in the form of a song. A personal cry to tell the world that flamencos have an opinion and know how to use their art as a loudspeaker, as a conciliatory weapon, in the hope of being able to generate a movement in consciences. “8 Miradas” is an album created from maturity, tradition, commitment and the avant-garde.
Welcome to his world, here are his 8 LOOKS.
