Eri notes for “Yellow Flower”
Smile, Smile, Smile:
In these challenging times, it is hard to keep smiling. But if one person
keeps smiling to others, the feeling spreads and keeps growing.
Yellow Flower:
One day I was walking in Central Park on a cold winter day.
I found one yellow flower blooming, shivering, and I thought,
“Wow, this is like me, trying to bloom during a difficult time.”
A Pause:
Because of the pandemic, my New York life stopped completely.
But having a pause gave me a chance to reflect on my life in a good way.
El Sol:
I was in Castellón, Spain, and the sun was shining so brightly.
This is a happy song.
Here We Go:
This is my way of saying, “let’s get back to our lives!”
Holiday Every Day:
It’s more fun to think and live like every day is special.
My Shoes Are Ready:
Right before the pandemic started, I bought two pairs of shoes in
Europe. Then I could hardly go out, but I kept shining those shoes.
And now, I am so ready.
We’ll Figure Out Blues:
No matter what happens, we’ll all figure things out as we move forward to a
better way.
