Based in Madrid since the beginning of the last decade, the Mexican-born singer Lucille embarked on a crusade to recover Soul as a dance culture. With her band "The Lucilles", two energetic LP's and a lot of performances in Spain and various European countries, her voice toured the main Afro-American music events receiving recognition from the Pop-Eye awards in 2016.
After this adventure, her growth and her concerns have led her to elaborate her original recipe with her own texts and in Spanish, in what she baptizes as “Smart Pop” and which she defines as “Popular and elegant music with a retro aroma”. With the echoes of the melodies that flowed from his father's old record player, the generosity of his voice encompasses and mixes musical genres such as Reggae, Bossa, Boleros, Boogaloo, Retro Disco, Modern Soul, Folk touches, Glam and many sounds that pay homage to the soundtracks of Ennio Morricone.
