Amann & The Wayward Sons present “Hymns Of Hope And Rage”, a new studio album by this band from Bilbao.
"Hymns Of Hope And Rage" is a compilation of songs composed during the pandemic in full confinement. The band led by Pablo Amann, debuted in 2018 with the album “Free Soul”; In 2019, they released “Drive Home”, recorded rigorously live (into the studio), reviving the traditional style of production of mythical bands from the 60s and 70s.
The new album by Amann & The Wayward Sons is versatile, songs like "Under Pouring Rain", "Devil Knows my Name", "I just wanna go my Way" or "Train to Mars", show the most forceful side of the band with an avant-garde electric Blues Rock sound in the style of Gary Clark Jr. or Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown. In the same way, it leads us to a more melodic and calm level with a Gospel, Roots Rock and even Country Rock register in songs like “Once I'm Gone” and “Feel it in My Bones”, of which they include an acoustic version.
