"The Blind Wrestler" was Valentín Caamaño's third job as a band leader. Edited in December 2017, it has almost all original compositions. As in his first work, he is accompanied by the usual musicians in his trio (Alfonso Calvo on double bass and LAR Legido on drums) to which he is joined by the fantastic tenor saxophone Xosé Miguélez. In addition, Caamaño incorporates his voice in three of the songs.
The album received excellent reviews, among which those of the prestigious Jazz Weekly and Tomajazz magazines, among others, stand out.
