"Nuredduna" is a conceptual album that narrates with music the moving story of the character created by the poet Costa i Llobera. In a free adaptation and with personality, the exciting voices of Laura Picó and Juanjo Monserrat give life to the music of Magí Garcías . Costa y Llobera's poem is the moving account of Nuredduna, from the Clumba tribe (Mallorca), and Melesigeni, a Greek prisoner about to be slain. Nuredduna falls in love with Melesigeni when she hears him sing a sad song of goodbye, and moved by this love she tries to save him and restore him to freedom. Starting from a free and very personal adaptation of Costa y Llobera's text, this album attempts to bring to history the perspective of Nuredduna, her doubts about tradition, her contained emotions and her visionary act of kindness.
