Alba Armengou, Carla Motis and Èlia Bastida have grown up in jazz in the context of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band project.
Joan Chamorro's idea of bringing them together on the same stage in this small format came about from seeing that the combination of their voices, instruments and musical tastes could give good results. To have the great tenor saxophone Scott Hamilton in this recording is, once again, a dream for them. And it is by chance that he is part of the last CDs that Chamorro has recorded with all three of them,as part of the "Joan Chamorro presents" collection and in the last album with Élia "Tha magic sound of the violin".
Listening to this CD takes us back to what was the concert on November 27, 2019 as part of the Barcelona Jazz Festival. A concert where we could see the magic of jazz in the 16 songs that were part of the set list of the session.
