AmyJo Doh & The Spangles are back and present “Smile & Dance,” their new record deal with five bluntly revolutionary compositions.
Two of them, "Smile & Dance" and "Now It's Gone" are absolutely unreleased, recorded in January 2020. The other three compositions were composed and recorded throughout 2019 with the band in full as they toured Europe and the main halls of Madrid with several dates accompanying The Libertines, the group of the brother of the singer Pete Doherty
The band is more intertwined than ever and features five cuts framed in Brit-Rock and Punk full of nuances that take us from Ska to "Now it's gone", to Dance-Rock or Nu wave from Smile & Dance "(single from the EP), to Soul / Rock of clean guitars from" Arise "or to the classic Punk / Rock of slightly stronger guitars in the" pindolassos "" Rats "and" New Years Revolution ".
