Pascal Comelade, the unclassifiable artist, multi instrumentalist and composer, will edit the next
October 4 a new album + double vinyl LP titled "DEVIATIONIST MUZAK".
Unpublished material recorded between 2017 and 2019 that is presented in format (CD Digipack) + a double vinyl LP with the same repertoire + 8 extra songs -not included on the CD and not available on digital platforms either. Iconic songs from Comelade's discography re-viewed.
In a constant of his career, Comelade is accompanied on this album by inter-generational artists who give us great collaborations under the particular vision he has of music and culture. There is Jordi Busquets, Xarim Aresté, La Cobla Sant Jordi (incorporating the version of "Sardana dels desamparats" recorded live in 2018 at the Teatre l'Arxipèlag in Perpiñan), - Quixote Quartet (the BCN string quartet recording "Alzina muntanera "live at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona in 2015, and expanded in 2019 with the performance of Perejaume. Richard Pinhas (the legendary French guitarist, leader of the group" Heldon "and historical father of electronic music in Europe, with Who Comelade recorded 2 discs and performed at the Sonar festival) is included in the credits of "Music Painting". Once again he is associated with The Limiñanas with whom they have recorded 3 songs in the studio they have in Cabestany, near Perpignan. And there was Pep Pascual, member of the extinct "Bel Canto Orquestra" in the cut "Couch de soleil sur del Adriatico".
