Giròvag (Blau-Discmedi) is Borja Penalba's first album in first person: "it's not a conceptual album, it's an existential album, I've been walking with my eyes closed for more than thirty years, for the first time I have to open them ". An emotional fragment of "Los ejes de mi carreta" in memory of Atahualpa Yupanqui opens this album in which Borja puts music to poets such as Joan Fuster, Marià Villangómez or Bertolt Brecht. Produced by Borja Penalba and mixed and mastered by Jorge Pérez, the result is an album with fourteen songs and two diversions, one of which was recorded live at the Teatre Principal in Valencia last December, a total of 16 tracks with a range of styles such as a circus waltz, a tango, a cradle, a rock or a ballad. Like the Rhodamon monks who lived outside the norms of the monasteries, the wanderer soul that was always inside the musician, has remained at the helm to begin this journey with a definite beginning and an uncertain end.
