The Catalan composer Mestres Quadreny has been a worldwide pioneer in introducing computational techniques to musical composition and experiencing the relationships between sound material and plastic arts.
Sonades at Ramon Llull are electroacoustic music, in the sense that it is not executable with acoustic instruments and must be listened necessarily through the loudspeakers. Although these four pieces have a sonority that reminds the symphonic orchestra in the construction, no conventional instrument has intervened, since everything has been done with the resources of the computer using above all, both for composition and for the production of sounds, the Max MSP program, with the contribution of some conventional music programs.
