"Brightwater" is the third album by Japanese composer and performer, based in Barcelona, Ayako Fuji and the first with her own original compositions. The pieces comprise of solo piano, two piano and a trio of piano, violin and cello. With compositions both meticulous and ambitious, ‘Brightwater' roots itself in Ayako's rigorous classic background but does not shy away from contemporary modern taste and technique. Ayako has been inspired by a number of influences such as World, Ambient, Minimal or even Japanese Contemporary Epic and Romantic music.
