The original nucleus of Triulet are the musicians Miquel Ferrés, Gerard Rosich and Nicolas Bernard (the first two former members of the Ivo Naïf and collaborators in numerous projects on the Barcelona scene). Active since 2006, Triulet publishes his
first album in 2009, Aridmètric, an instrumental album that laid the foundations of its sound: an arid and dark experimental rock, icy without being abstract, which plays with the metric and hovers over cosmic rock, a certain scorching sound of the 80's (Swans, Fugazi) and post-rock of a decade ago, to constitute a singular proposal, equidistant from Bartok, Lovecraft and a macabre soundtrack. In 2012 he added a fourth musician, Ignacio Lois. Enric Casasses is a poet and essayist. Author of an extensive work, he has recently published Bes Nagana (2011, Edicions 1984) and has received the National Prize for
Literature 2012 awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Take Your Breath consists of eleven songs and five other snippets of music that announce each part. In each of the sections, the poem is the melody; the text is intimately linked to the music. The variety of sounds is drawn in each of the parts and the amalgam of colors reinforces the various poetic ideas.
In fact, the title of the album had to reflect both the poetic concept and the musical fact and this marriage was candidly celebrated, hence the onomatopoeia, taken from one verse of the album, tiralilalene.
