It was the desire of playing again together what encouraged these enthusiastic and eager musicians to form the Airas Ensemble. Some of them have met before and the rest knew each other from the professional world. The trajectories of their careers cross until they founded the Airas Ensemble in 2011 as someone assembling the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. The group is constituted by musicians that currently play at national as well as international orchestras such as the Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, European Chamber Players, NDR Radiophilharmonie, or the Orquestra Vigo 430, etc. Trying to show the maximum of the sounding possibilities of their wind instruments combined with piano or alone, the musicians of the Airas Ensemble cover almost every possible formation obtaining very interesting results from the point of view of the timbre and the variety of styles.
