The project CADENA TRÒFICA is inspired by some of the ideas that made the Bauhaus movement a landmark in the history of twentieth century art.
The creative process is the true determining factor in the destiny of a work and of the artists themselves, and during this process, we cannot separate any of the elements that form the scope of our creativity and knowledge.
Artistic experience comes through craftsmanship, just as philosophy comes through thought. How could we imagine a whole rest in music without the image of an icy landscape? How do we articulate musical forms without considering the architectural structure of a building? And how can we think about instrumentation without the fragment of a film springing to mind? Doesn’t the phrasing of a musical motif become the brush stroke of a painting? Are the parameters that determine the structure of a piece of music not common to those working on the design of a glass?
CADENA TRÒFICA aims to form part of this creative chain shared by different aesthetic and artistic disciplines, as well as by disciplines of thought, through original music largely inspired in the essence that gave meaning to the Bauhaus school.
