Achilifunk Sound System is the musical project directed by Txarly Brown that experiments and rambles on the influence of Funk Soul Jazz and Disco on Catalan Rumba from an electronic prism.

Sixth disc of the Achilifunk Sound System combo , engender rumber by Txarly Brown (Professor Bacterio of the Rumba of the XXI), who in "Super Soul Gitano" accidentally invented the Rumba Jazz Dance. With the collaboration of Jonatan Ximenis from the band Arrels de Gràcia as the cornerstone of the vocal project, in "Super Soul Gitano" we find a mixer of old soul, funk and jazz themes that the combo takes to rumble areas. 12 pieces where the voice of Ximenis, "the Popof of Catalan rumba", shines with his own voice whatever the adaptation: from Bill Withers to Gino Paoli, all shattered and squeezed. On side B there is a little more of his own composition and the defining "Excuses", a sample of the conversations that have been necessary to make the album.
