Tesa is a rapper from the town of Almussafes (Valencia, Span) with unique style that has led her to lead a constantly growing and expanding Valencian urban scene. Her music, which mixes rap, classic hip hop, electronic music, traditional music and other urban influences, is based on three fundamental constants: roots, feminism and partying.
After debuting with "Al-Tesa" (2017) and publishing "Rural" (2019), in 2022 comes "Rap d'arrel" ("Rap of roots"), her new album. In this ambitious album, the rapper from Almussafes bets on the fusion between rap and traditional Valencian music; on the one hand, she introduces traditional sounds in rap, and on the other, modernizing the discourse of folklore. And all this, with the idea of ​​bringing rap and tradition to new audiences.
The album includes 14 songs, eleven of them in Valencian language, two in Spanish, and another one with fragments in Galician and Basque.
