"Few guitarists achieve with their first self-produced album a nomination for the Latin Grammy and the Independent Awards of Spanish Music". "Andando" (2015) by Joselito Acedo (Triana 1979) thus becomes the best letter of presentation of the guitarist and composer , a project endorsed by critics and the public as a result of a career dedicated to flamenco.
In full maturity, Joselito Acedo presents his latest work “Triana D.F. (Flamenco District) ”, where he shows us different ways of understanding the flamenco heritage of the Triana neighborhood.
Triana is the cradle of flamenco, it has seen the birth of great artists such as Rafael Riqueni, Antonio Cortés Chiquetete, Antonio Canales, Lole Montoya and Manuel Molina (Lole y Manuel), La Susi, Juan José Amador, José Acedo, Remedios Amaya, among others.
Three generations of artists shake hands on the guitar of Joselito Acedo, who has managed to assimilate with naturalness the influence received over time by his predecessors, collecting with vibrant harmonies, palos (styles) that go from Bulería, through Seguiriya, to the Soleá.
