Nucli Trío is in essence a classical jazz guitar trio formed by Guillem Plana on guitar, Aleix Forts on double bass and David Viñolas on drums.
Nucli Trio is in part one more branch of the fertile and inexhaustible tree of music of David, Aleix and Guillem, expressed in this case as a unit of three musicians without protagonism or hierarchies and in total synchronicity. True to the style and contagious enthusiasm that has brought them here, this new breath of air comes after a couple of years of tours and concerts. It is at that moment of maturity of the songs, when the trio decides to lock themselves up in the Soiart studio in Badalona to record these delicious pieces of sound goldsmithing in the old fashion, in a single session, pure live, capturing all the freshness of their speech. and transmitting the sensual warmth of its unmistakable sound. It consists for the most part of original creations by the trio itself, with the addition of some versions of their most loved ones such as Sam Rivers, Marco Mezquida or Carla Bley.
