Carmen Doorá presents “Orgánica”, the third studio album by the Murcian cantaora with which she reconnects with music, as something alive, vindictive and personal.
Recently, she released the video clip for “Feeling Good”, an adaptation of the famous song by Nina Simone to the rhythm and aesthetics of flamenco. Recorded live with the guitarist Paco Heredia, it is committed to music without artifice, returning to the origin of the voice, the guitar and the emotional charge.
"Orgánica" shows the life experience and artistic concerns of the spanish singer, from the most traditional flamenco with references such as La Niña de los Peines, La Perla de Cádiz or Antonio Chacón, who expose their most orthodox training, to songs from the international classical repertoire interpreted in Arabic, English, French or Catalan, which are part of his life and his memories; as reflected in the adaptations of Nina Simone, Pastora Pavón, Jacques Brel, Catalino Curet Alonso, Carlos Gardel or Alfredo Le Pera, included in this magnificent album.
