Sergio Albacete studies in Jaén, Sevilla and Madrid. At the same time he trained with musicians such as Pat Metheny, Perico Sambeat, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aaron Goldberg and Javier Colina and in 2000 he moved to Madrid.
There he combined performances with teaching until finishing at the Professional Music Conservatory of Jaén.
He has played alongside the likes of Kurt Elling, Kevin Mahogany, Miguel Rios, Pepe Justicia, Capullo de Jerez, Nina Corti, Erik Sanchez, Mike Mossman, Claude Delangle, Arno Bornkamp, Andrés Gomis, Francisco Blanco 'Latino', Toni Belenguer, Felip Santandreu or Ramón Cardo among others.
For the occasion Sergio has managed to surround himself with people of his total confidence. At the piano, a young courage like José Carra has sat down. As a rhythmic base two friends, Bori Albero on double bass and Alfredo Sarno on drums and as a guest Voro García on trumpet on some topics.
The jazz music with classic flavor, eight own compositions and two arrangements that try to summarize two decades of life with creative music and some improvisation.
There is a bit of everything, classical music, jazz, rock or world music, especially tropical, but sifted and customized by Sergio and his people who know how to adapt and personalize their music.
