Fran Palomo, Catalan percussionist and composer, presents his latest album "Black way" (Temps Record 2017), recorded at the famous Egrem Studios at La Habana, Cuba, becoming the first Spanish percussionist to record a Latin Jazz album in the island of Cuba. His innate talent to play mixes the virtuosity with the melodic way of accompanying and improvising with a very personal taste.
A fabulous album that joins the contemporary jazz of American influences with afrocuban music, contributing to this genre something different and special.
This album counts with the participation of the Cuban talented saxophonist, Michel Herrera, one of the most famous musicians of the island's jazz scene. Other talented Cuban musicians who have been awarded in their land countless times make part of this album as well.
