Javi Tejero presents "Pontiac-Springfield", the third album by the artist from Granada after "Little Complexity" released in 2012 and "Storms and Chords" in 2016.
"Pontiac-Springfield" is a musical journey back and forth in Tejero's compositions with lyrics in English and Spanish. Three years have passed since his previous release, and with this new advance he makes a parenthesis in his usual itinerary as a composer to make a collection of songs under the influence of Americana, Folk and Southern Rock.
Javi Tejero explores new arteries, distancing himself from moments of his appearance as a soloist with rock bases and affinity to other styles, as he endorsed his previous installment "Storms and Chords". With “Only Road” and “Strange City”, he delves into American root music to appropriate a new discourse with the convenient personality that characterizes him and a solvent versatility as a musician.
After an intense journey through the musical heart of the United States, he brings us those experiences in the form of songs that cover rock, country, blues, Americana Music and even pop, and whose common denominator is still the care put in the lyrics and the musical arrangements. Recorded in Granada by Carlos Díaz and Elena González, it has the participation of great musicians from Granada, including once again the collaboration of Cosmotrío.
