Recording on double CD and soon on DVD of the successful show that the great Maria Bethania and Zeca Pagodinho starred throughout last year and that was recorded on May 18 and 19 at the Citibank Hall in Sao Paulo. This year they will start a new tour to present this release
The title "From Santo Amaro to Xerém" refers to the hometown of Bethania and the town of Rio de Janeiro in which Pagodinho has been established.
Throughout this double CD they review their best songs such as "Negue" (Adelino Moreira), "Reconvexo" (Caetano Veloso), "Maneiras" (Sylvio da Silva) and "Verdade" (Nelson Rufino / Carlinhos Santana) in addition to interpreting new songs in the repertoire of each of them.
All a tribute to samba.
